Apply 8-16V AC to this door strike and the catch will release allowing you to push the door open. Wire in series with a low voltage pushbutton switch or to an X10 Universal Module for X10 control. Reversible for right or left hand doors.
Can also be used with the Wire Excellence Security Panel and most intercom/phone systems with door strike control. Using an AC power supply will cause the strike to produce a buzz while it is held open. A DC power supply will make a small click and then remain silent while it is open.
