For even greater security, add an electric deadbolt. Drill a 1 3/8” diameter hole 3 1/2” inches deep in the door jamb or in the door itself to install. Heavy duty steel & aluminum construction. Two versions are available; failsafe version locks when power is applied & unlocks when power is removed. Fail secure version unlocks when power is applied and locks when power is removed. Warning: Fail secure version should not be used on exit doors where safety may be compromised in the event of an emergency.
